Hyunjung Choi is a swing dancer, instructor and choreographer. Having majored in Korean traditional dance and enjoyed various dances such as dance sport and ballet, she came across swing dance in 2005, and instantly became fascinated by the dance.
Since 2006, she has been teaching various lindy hop classes with new ideas, aiming for the growth of Korean swing dance scene, as well as competing internationally to acquire various titles.
Especially her name became known to others by winning the 1st place in “Hellzapoppin contest, Frankie 100” She continues to show her unique character in workshops and events all around the world. She is a passionate dancer who strives to better express herself, and her delightful dancing gives positive energy to everyone who watches her dance.

Nicolas started swing dancing as a young boy in the early nineties. At this age Boogie Woogie was his big craze, with competitions and fancy steps as the driving force. As a youngster, the interest in Lindy Hop spurred and he was captured by the social dance scene.
The aspect of communicating with people through dancing became, and still is, a big inspiration. Through the years, swing music has become a bigger part of his life, in and outside of dancing.

César comes from Mallorca (Spain), but he is currently based in Montpellier (France).
He had his first contact with swing dancing in his early twenties. In 2016, he fell in love with Lindy Hop, when he discovered that it is a language on its own through which you can communicate with others.
From then on he became a passionate of the swing culture and dances (specially Lindy Hop, Solo Jazz and Tap dancing).
He travels continuously nationally and internationally to improve his dancing and teaching skills.
His dance is based on freedom, improvisation and rhythm. César has a relaxed and soft dance but also expansive and frenetic. Often complementing it with rhythms inspired from tap dancing.

Having Swing music as her main source of inspiration, she embraces diverse playful ways to push her dancing forward. Clàudia admires and studies the Jazz roots, focusing on its music and dancing, as a never-ending process in her development as a dancer.
Following the Jazz spirit, believing in its evolution, she is constantly seeking new approaches to apply in her dancing, knowing that the basics are the fundamentals to revisit to keep on growing.
She makes sure that whenever in class, there are always connections to its essence in different ways, from learning and creating individually and together to feeling like a being in a party!

Sep Vermeersch is a unique and committed creative. He’s a passionate jazz, blues & swing dancer and aspiring expert in the matter. When teaching he prefers holding space as a facilitator. It’s all about the ‘jazz’ process: historical context, personal development and expressing your own style while trying to appreciate this African American art form as a guest. He also knows how to handle the DJ Booth mixing for dancing crowds or holds the mike when holding space as a sensuous MC. Sep also shapes and organizes events and festivals such as Upside Down Festival, Big City Blues or LouisLou’s Dance Madness.
The combination of his educational background, playful attitude and daily practice make him a unique person to collaborate with. His curiosity for the deep ways of jazz, humanity and his successful performances in the sector make him a welcomed guest in various projects around the globe. More than just my job, teaching is Alexia’s passion. She’s been dancing Lindy Hop since 2005, and has founded her own school in the beautiful city of Paris.
She’s always exploring how to teach her concepts and values, working hard to respect the original black African American culture, in which she considers herself a lucky guest.
Individual responsibility in the partnership, self-expression, inspiration drawn from music are some go-to topics that she will teach in many different ways. Don’t expect her to micromanage your dancing, causeshe won’t! Instead, she will help the students find their own way to move - by themselves and with a partner - in the (let’s hope) spirit of jazz. She’ll shake you in a pleasant and caring way.

The Stomping Aces are an exciting jazz quintet from The Hague with a style rooted in 1940s and 1950s swing music. The band perform their own swinging arrangements of tunes from the Great American Songbook and by bandleaders such as Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman. With a frontline of vocals and trumpet backed by a stomping rhythm section, the band is certain to get you on the dance floor!
